“Thank you so much for all your help and efforts with everything! I can’t thank you enough you’ve been amazing. Couldn’t have done all this without you and your hard work and dedication!”

Annabel joined the firm in 2020 and is a Trainee Chartered Legal Executive in the Private Law Children & Domestic Abuse Team.

Prior to this, Annabel worked in the Care Team on Public Law cases where Social Services have concerns about a child’s welfare. She also has experience in other areas of family law including divorce and finance.

After completing the Post Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), she completed the CILEX Diploma in Legal Practice with specialisms in the practice of family law and criminal litigation and will qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2024.

Before starting law, Annabel gained a degree in Psychology and Sociology, with a specialism in mental health, and her study of these subjects has enabled her to approach every case in a holistic manner, with an appreciation of the impact that people’s life experiences have on them, and she has a particular passion for helping victims of domestic abuse. She understands how stressful and worrisome family proceedings can often be, so she seeks to provide clients with as much care and support as possible.

In her free time, Annabel likes to explore Devon with her family, eat good chocolate and play the piano.

Her work includes:

  • Working on cases of sexual abuse, neglect, and non-accidental injury on a child
  • Preparing statements and applications for Non-Molestation Orders, Child Arrangements Orders, divorces, and financial disputes.
  • Supporting victims of abuse through fact-finding hearings
