Courtney joined The Family Law Company in April 2024 and works as a Paralegal in the children and domestic abuse response team in Plymouth.
Prior to joining the firm, Courtney worked in Residential Conveyancing for local firms in Plymouth, during this time she developed her keen attention to detail and grew her communication skills which are necessary when working with clients. She applies these skills daily by preparing documents which are accurate, concise, and further their position whilst ensuring she can explain the court process in plain English for everyone to understand.
Her work includes:
- Preparing documents such as court bundles and applications;
- Dealing with translations for non-English speaking clients;
- Attending Court hearings; and Supporting clients throughout proceedings.
Courtney supports Amelia and the wider Children team with the day-to-day running of complex children law and domestic abuse matters.
In her free time, Courtney likes to attend music festivals, being outside with her friends, and her two dogs on walking trails and/or in the sea.
