Michelle is a solicitor in our divorce and finance team having qualified in November 2021. She joined the company in January 2021 having completed her first two seats in probate and conveyancing at another law firm.
Working with both private and legal aid clients Michelle assists with the resolution of their divorce and matrimonial finances, supports in preparing cases for court and helping clients throughout their hearings. She is passionate about helping those who are going through the most difficult times in their life and endeavours to ensure that the legal processes are explained clearly to minimise distress.
Experience:
- Supporting the divorce and finance team with complex divorce cases including those involving business owners, pensions and inherited assets;
- Working with clients to draft key documents such as pre or post-nuptial agreements, settlement offers and instructions to counsel.
- Supporting clients through online conferences, virtual hearings and other divorce proceeding meetings.
Qualifications
Having completed a degree and a Masters in Criminal Justice Studies, Michelle went on to complete both her GDL and LPC before finally completing her law degree in 2017.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, walking the dog and watching rugby.
