Solicitor/Legal Executive

Salary: Dependent upon experience

Hours: 35 hours per week (part time considered)


A vacancy has arisen for a Solicitor/Legal Executive to work in our Exeter Care Team.

This is a full time or part time role, from 9am until 5pm and would be appropriate for a the Law Society Children Panel member or someone who wishes to progress their career by obtaining Children Panel membership.


To work with in a team environment  supported by paralegals and secretaries and contribute to the ongoing development of the department.

To manage a case load of care files and undertake advocacy at court. The role would also include related matters such as Special Guardianship Orders, Adoption and Placement applications, together with  step-parent Adoptions.

In addition we are keen to expand our existing work in the areas of Surrogacy and also Grandparent related matters, including private law applications.

The position would suit someone who is highly organised, accurate, proactive, committed to meeting deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who has a desire to be the best that they can be and who is looking for a successful and progressive future.
