Jane joined The Family Law Company this year as a Solicitor in the Divorce and Finance team specialising in the resolution of property disputes and mental health law.

Jane has a particular interest in dealing with disputes involving unmarried former partners in relation to property.  Jane is therefore familiar with the tricky issues that often arise when dealing  specifically with separation of finance and property for those who own property jointly with their former partner, or else do not own the property they have shared but feel they should have an interest in it.

Jane joins us from a large national law firm with over 10 years’ professional experience dealing with and advising private individuals, professionals and commercial entities alike, in a range of disputes both in the civil courts, in the Court of Protection and at inquest.  In doing so, Jane has helped many clients to prepare for and resolve their problems successfully at mediation and through other forms of alternative dispute resolution thereby avoiding often stressful, costly and time-consuming litigation where possible.

Jane  is well-experienced in representing and advising clients from all backgrounds and prides herself in being able to cut quickly through complex and difficult problems to deliver sensible practical solutions cost effectively, with pragmatic and sensible advice.

Outside of work, Jane enjoys an active and outdoors lifestyle, regularly taking part in activities such as middle to long distance running events, cycling and scuba diving (when visiting better climates!).

I just want to personally thank you for all your hard work and support you have given me over the last year, you really are a credit to The Family Law Company.

Thank you so much again.
