Children and Domestic Abuse
The Effect Of Domestic Abuse On Children
If you have children you should be aware that they may be suffering emotional harm as a result of the other persons behaviour. You could be seen as failing to protect the children if you do not take action to prevent the abuse reoccurring or if you resume your relationship with an abusive partner. In some cases this may result in social services becoming involved with your family.
