Hartnell Chanot & Partners is celebrating the professional achievements of two of its Plymouth-based family law specialists, Alexandra Boardman and Carrie Laws.

Legal Executive Alexandra Boardman recently received the accolade of “highly commended” at this year’s highly prestigious Law Society Excellence Awards, which were held in London on 18 October.

The awards are presented to “exceptional individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the legal profession during the year.” Alexandra was highly commended in the Legal Executive of the Year category for her commitment and passion for providing the best advice and representation to clients in domestic abuse relationships.

Previously a Trainee Legal Executive, Carrie Laws recently received confirmation from the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) that she has met all the requirements to become a Fellow of ILEX and a qualified lawyer. The qualification follows seven years of study and work-based experience.

Jonathan Madge, Director, commented: “We are extremely proud of Alexandra and Carrie. When we opened in Plymouth almost one year ago our aim was to provide a truly specialist family law service to the community of Plymouth. These recent achievements illustrate the calibre of our team and our commitment to providing the best.”
