Congratulations to our family law expert Rachel Buckley who has been promoted to Partner as of the 1st October 2009.

Rachel has been with the firm for almost three years advising a wide range of clients on all aspects of family law. She is highly regarded and respected by the legal profession and her clients, and has extensive experience in divorce, financial matters, children issues, and domestic violence.

Commenting on the announcement, Norman Hartnell, Partner said “We are delighted to welcome Rachel to the partnership. Rachel is truly passionate about family law, and has a wealth of experience in providing legal, practical and sympathetic support to our clients who are going through a very traumatic time in their lives. Her experience, enthusiasm and dedication will be an integral part of the firm’s growth. ”

Rachel who was born and brought up in North Devon, spent six years working in the field of family law in Wales before returning to Devon in 2006 to pursue her career closer to her family. Since being at the firm Rachel has assisted with the development of the firm’s website and been a popular voice on local radio with her ‘family soap bubbles’. She is also a valuable member of the firms’ Devon & Cornwall Legal Police Team.

Rachel said: “I am delighted to accept the offer of partnership and it is a great privilege to have the opportunity to use my experience to help further advance the success of the firm.”
